Default picture video resolution question

i am doing a video in sony vegas that is just going to be made up of pictures
the screen res of the monitor that it will be playing on will be 1600x1200

what project size should i use? 1600x1200?
i want it to be clear as freakin possible

Yes, use 1600 x 1200. Not sure what codec will render that size, I have never rendered anything that big - some codes may be fussy. I wouldnt frop the bit rate below about 1 meg bit / sec or any movement / transitions may become blocky, a higher bit rate may be needed, experiment.
