I need help..I am new..I am trying to like put black and white just a part of the file im modifiying...how do I choose the part....everytime i do it it makes the whole video black&white....and can I put like 2 mins of slow motion in a video of 15 mins at the same time..help me please a little explanation will do it ...THANKs

yeah u can edit specific parts of a clip but you need to split it up. to do that, put your cursor line right at the point that you want to ad an effect and then press "s". then find the place that you want the effect to end and press "s". now you have three clips. with the middle one you can add a black and white effect and it will only affect that one.
