Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Accelerated Motion of an Object (Quick Steps)

This is making me a bit crazy, but only because I can’t find it in the index of my Vegas (6.0) manual!

What I want to do in certain parts of my video is “increase” the speed of an object; for example a man is shown walking at a normal pace and then for maybe six very quick steps and back to the normal pace again. Basically, opposite of slow-motion!

Please consider rendering me any one of the following:
  • A quick lesson here within the thread
  • A heading within the index (Vegas 6 manual) of which to find out how to do this
  • A page number within the manual
  • A URL for a tutor of how to do this
Any of these aforementioned will bring me back to sanity

A premature “Thanks” to any Doctor coming to my assistance.

TA

You can do this with a velocity envelope.Page178 of the manual gives a demo.

BINGO – Thanks much for your time, experience and knowledge!

I love working with Vegas, but sometimes finding what I want to do under how it’s listed within Sony’s manual is a bit complexing – “Velocity Envelope” for “Fast Forward” ?

Vegasarian – Thanks
