| | | | | Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers... |

| | What is the source materail, I suspect it may be torrented divx / xvid. This can happen with those.

| | No, it often happens with torrenated stuff cos of the way the compression is done. I have never had a dv file, or a dvd file, actually it's only divx files that have ever done it.

| | I think problems like this can be caused by codec problems.
The easiest to fix is no codec. 'Sniff' file with Gspot (free, google it) and see what the audio codec is, then get it.
That prob isnt it, more likely there is some hypercomplicated software / dll / Tron / HAL9000 problem that is super teccy to understand, in my expirience (and others here) having too many codecs installed can cause this sort of thing.
Maybe try clearing out some codecs... trouble is I dont know how to do that.... anyone else ? ?
