Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Motion backgrounds

Hello,

I started using Vegas a few weeks ago. And I'm making some simple greenscreen video clips. But I want some motion backgrounds. Not fractal art, but abstract shapes. I do not want to pay for it, so is there a posibility that I can make them by myself?

Greetings Aottens.

Water down pug hole.Cigarette smoke or better still, burning leaves at this time of year..Point camera out of car window onto trees and sun. Then play around with them all in Vegas.

...Oh! and...Point your camera at its own output on a monitor to generate some howlround and record that.

Experiment with Vegas Generated Media using the keyframe timeline to adjust over time. This will impart motion and give that all important motion. And yes slap on some slo-mo and blur. You can make some truly beautiful motion backgrounds to use and re-use.

Once you get this far it is only a small step towards putting wards and clients name's into the backgrounds too.

Lots to do here!
