| | | | | Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers... |

| | O this is ridiculous.
Ok I have a video clip on the timeline. Everytime I want to import another video clip, it keeps crashing (not responding). This only happens when I want to import another video while I already have a video on the project timeline.
What is going on? |

Have you tried Sony support at all? The number of problems you have needs dealing with properly. Could it be a bad installation?
I would definately get in touch with Sony.

Yes, something is clearly wrong - I find vegas to be ultra stable.

Its strange because it wasnt like this before.
Do they do any kind of updates that maybe fix bugs like this?

Me too. I've never had a crash. The worst I've ever had to put up with is (and this is only on my laptop) slowish response times rendering and semi jerky preview.
TW - When did this start happening and was it after you installed something else? Perhaps an XP system restore might help? (I don't think it's a 'bug' either.... Vegas, as Mark says is usually very stable indeed)

I really dont know why this is happening. Perhaps im low on memory RAM or something, perhaps my PC cant take it? I havent installed anything else either.

Shame we couldn't really help, but at least we know what to do for others in the future. Glad you got sorted out.
