Sony Vegas and Media Studio Yep, I know they're not related, but they both fall in the Premiere Alternative bracket in my humble opinion! Post here for Ulead Media Studio or Vegas video problems or pointers...

Default Help Slowing down audio!

Well there will be times where i need to slow down an audio track and im having trouble. I slow down the video by simply holding conrol and dragging it longer but if i do this to audio it doesnt sound like a truly slowed down audio clip. Noise is kinda blotchy if anyones seen what im talking about. If anyone could tell me how to properly slow down audio that'd be great! Also got vegas 7 and its pretty cool. Most things are the same but everything seems easier to use.

Nic

Have you tried the different 'stretch attributes' ? Right c;ick on the aucio to get the properties window, select Method - 'classic' then try different settings in the 'stretch attributes' slection window.

Different methods give different results depending on the program but there is always some change in the sound apart from the length / pitch.
