New guy to the forum looking for some help...

I have a video project that I need to get on a disc, and sent off for replication... after rendering it (I'm editing with Vegas Movie Studio+DVD), the project comes out to 6.6GB... when I tried to burn it to a dual layer disc, it read as a project size of 9.1GB in DVD Architect, and 8.4GB in Nero... what gives? Did the menus add 2-3 GB's of data? What am I doing wrong?

It might have gotten bigger when it was rendererd to mpeg or vob. I dont know the format it was. If you give more information we can help better.
