Here is the product comparison that Sony provides

What would you recommend?
At the moment Sony is giving big discounts on the new full on Vegas 7, such that Vegas 7 is about the same price as Platinum+DVD with Sound Forge cheopo Audio Studio.
Plain Movie Studio is not cheap enough to warrant its purchase. High Definition is the future, so why not get Platinum.
Both Platinum and full-on Vegasdo High definition. I am trying to decide between these two.
Pro Platinum
It would cost about 120 dollars less - due to the special offer on Vegas 7 now.
It has show me how - and I love the show me how's (why were they removed in Vegas7? Put them back Sony! At the same time, there is only 20 or 30 of them, so
one could try them all and learn the basics during the trial period and be ready to start using Vegas 7 after that)
Pro Vegas 7
One can apply audio effects and I would like to be able to apply a notch or low pass filter, or just have more control over audio due to the problems I am having editing audio.
I don't understand most of the other rows.
