Hello!

I'm a newbie to Vegas. Could anyone tell me the "How-tos" in producing high quality VCD starting from the main Vegas program.

Do i have to use third party programs? Shall i render the edited/composited vegas file to an .avi, .mpeg format? or what would be the best format to have a final output of Hollywood-like VCD quality movies.

I have already tried the built-in VCD making option in Vegas, but the quality of the final output was not impressive (to my clients - unacceptable). I have also tried rendering to MPEG-2 format then making the VCD in Nero, but to no avail.

Any help and suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Not quite sure what you want to do here, are you trying to make a VCD or DVD?

I'm trying to make VCDs. But i want them to be of high quality just like the commercial VCD movies.
