Default getting a link for your movie before filming it

    Hello,

When you upload your movie to YouTube, it generates a link.

Does anybody know a way to get a link BEFORE uploading your movie?

Cant see how it could if there is nothing there to link to. Why would you need to do that?

I was hoping to be able to add a URL for part II of my movie in the closing credits for part I, but part II hasn't been filmed yet.

I don't use YouTube, but Vimeo lets you replace videos. Assuming the link stats the same (it does on Vimeo), add a place holder (coming soon video) and replce it when ready.

There is a way to do this on YouTube by adding an annotation with a link at the end of the first video once it is uploaded.

Got you now. What you Can do here is at the end of part one video go to your Youtube video manager. click on edit your video, then click Annotations. Create a new speech bubble.Name it part two. Then click link. copy and paste part 2 URL in to the box. You can position the Speech bubble somewhere at the end of part one. Hope this makes sense. Please post back if you have problems.
