Guitar solos on your PC Berlin, 05.10.2006 - For all those who thought their homemade music on the computer was lifeless and synthetic-sounding, prepare to be amazed by the new MAGIX Music Maker 12. Why you say? Because of the new virtual acoustic instruments that sound just like as if you were playing them. Not only that, they're easier to play as well as you don't have to learn any sheet music or even practise! With these and many more new features, version 12 is setting new benchmarks in quality and continuing on from the pioneering vision of its predecessors: Creating professional sounding music is easy and no longer requires musical training or prior technical knowledge. From October 26, MAGIX Music Maker 12 deluxe and MAGIX Music Maker 12 XXL will be available to purchase from all good retail stores for £49,99 and £109,99 respectively. The production features of the deluxe version can be enhanced thanks to a high quality master MIDI keyboard that comes with the XXL version of the software. The keyboard can be hooked up to PCs with the USB cable provided. With the master keyboard it's easy to play the new realistic vital instruments: acoustic guitar, drums and E-piano, while the deluxe version comes with the additional grand piano and E-bass. All five Vital Instruments, so-called because of their lively sound, are also available in the MAGIX Music Maker 11 deluxe version and have been developed by yellow tools, the award-winning sampling and content specialists. The acoustic guitar, for example, comes with realistic slide and picking sounds. Thanks to professional sound quality, it's almost impossible to tell these PC instruments from real ones (see also song demo below, developed with vital instruments). And for those who like it just that bit easier, you can make use of the thousands of sound building blocks or the tried and tested Song Maker, which automatically creates an entire music piece in the style of your choice. If you want to let the whole world enjoy your music, why not publish your creations as podcasts? All straight from within the program!
