DVD X Copy was once the market's best-selling DVD copy software. After being banned for sale in the US in 2004, DVDXCopy.com has re-emerged as a leading consumer information in terms of retail sales, DVD X Copy Platinum remains the best dvd copy software of all time.

(PRWEB) August 3, 2008 -- What ever happened 321 Studios' DVDXCopy? DVD X Copy was the DVD copy software that started it all and was eventually banned for sale by the Hollywood studios. This infamous product line, created by 321 Studios, was the first mainstream DVD burning software program that enabled novice computer users to copy any DVD movie. If you run a Google search on "DVD X Copy" or "321 Studios", you will find dozens of news articles that chronicled the rise and fall of 321 Studios.

Many of these articles are still posted at the DVDXCopy.com website. Prior to the creation of this product line, DVD copying was a relatively difficult process and outside of the reach of the average consumer. This difficulty was related to the fact that most commercial DVD movies include Content Scrambling System (CSS), a copy-protection technology designed to prevent movies from being copied. DVD X Copy included the "ripping" technology required to decrypt the CSS copy protection mechanism on commercial DVD movie discs. Additionally, the company was able to create a DVD copying software program that handled the complex processes of copying, transcoding, compressing and burning digital video content onto a blank DVDR disc in one easy point-and-click program. These products were highly popular and sold in all major global retail channels and online via the company's website and "in terms of retail sales, DVD X Copy Platinum remains the best dvd copy software of all time."

Virulent VHS tape mould taking hold in Britain’s damp climate means memories on VHS will need to be transferred to DVD

London, 22 July 2008 - People holding onto past memories in VHS format are at high risk of losing them all thanks to a virulent mould which is destroying tapes at an exponential rate across the UK.  The mould, which attacks the sensitive VHS and audio tape formats, can be fatal to those collections of memories we all hold dear, particularly those recorded in the 1980s and 1990s.

From family holidays to birthdays; from your child’s first steps to memories of times away with parents, grandparents or great grandparents, we all have those special memories we want to keep hold of. And although we have them locked away on VHS, we may be in for a rude awakening when we find them covered in the mould’s fine white dust and rendered totally unwatchable.

Despite the thought of losing precious memories, for most of us backing tapes up conjures up thoughts of lots of work and expense. But with Pinnacle’s Dazzle family of products, anyone can digitise all their memories quickly, efficiently and with minimal expense.

Disk Space Finder is a free tool that saves precious time in finding out what is taking up the most disk space on a PC in a beautiful and stunningly fast way.

(PRWEB) July 22, 2008 -- IntelliConcepts has announced the release of Disk Space Finder, a free tool that saves precious time in finding out what is taking up the most disk space on a PC in a beautiful and stunningly fast way.

Disk Space Finder presents a PC's content as a 3D Pie chart, allowing the user to see at a high level what areas of the disk take up the most space. They can then drill down into the areas that take up the most space and remove any unneeded content.

With increasingly larger content stored in PCs in today's digital world, it is becoming increasingly important to have tools to help visualize the size of the content. When a PC is almost nearing its hard disk capacity, people often spend hours going through their PC looking for content that is no longer needed and can be deleted. Disk Space Finder essentially reduces this time down to a small fraction by guiding the user down the path where the most disk space is occupied.

Chicago, IL - Zacuto is announcing the release their new Lightweight Support System (LWS) http://www.zacuto.com/zacuto_lws.htm for high definition video cameras. Zacuto LWS gives you the ability like all previous LWS plates to mount rods to the front of your camera for attaching matte boxes & follow focus units. This means that one plate can be used for all cameras. When you get a new camera you can still use the Z-LWS.

The new Zacuto Lightweight Support System (LWS) comes with Z-Release for all professional 2/3", 1/2" sized cameras as well as prosumer cameras such as the JVC GY-HD100/200/250 or the Canon XL-H1.
