If what you want to do is make a record of you and your mates skating then that's what you wanna do. Quote:

| | Skate videos - the trouble is that they all look the same and every mook with a camcorder, a wide convertor and mates who are rubbish on thier boards insists on making them and then showing them at our local open film night - it's a personal thing, call it prejudice !
I am thinking of doing a skate video just to face my fear but I suspect those lithe scabby lads may not like my interpretation of thier art...
Lol to your second above !!!!

Not a huge fan of skateboarding at the best of times anyway, I find (as you say) that all the tricks tend to look the same to a non-skater. There is one section of one skate video I can watch though: Cheese and Crackers Pt2 - I just love how silly it gets in the linked section (Starts 20 seconds in) - the stuff with the tyres in the pipe is genius! |

| | i haven't been on the forum long, but i have been on other forums, and here is usually a rule of thumb.
*spend more time doing what the forum discusses then being on the forum.
otherwise you just begin to get sucked in and you get worse at your craft. |

| | uh, not really.
i mean, i don't want to doubt or question your powerful opinion on the forum, but i think that if you spend more time practicing on your craft, you will get better. that's a fact. and when you spend time on the forum, it might be taking away from your time that you could be writing, reviewing, and editing your films. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
