Default Help Please Rendering problems Liquid 6

I am a Liquid Edition 6 user and have used the application succesfully on an Acer Desktop replacement. I was given a high spec Dual Core Intel, Dell Inspiron 9400 and loaded Liquid onto it. I want to use this because of the internal 90Gb hard drive and 256 mb graphics card.

It registered succesfully and the video capture, creation of sequence etc worked fine. However when I try to output as AVI or WMF or to DVD I get a 'Missing media'message. Also it doesn't appear to be rendering the yellow slices, nor the red slices when I add linear timewarp etc. No pulsating sigma, it says render on idle.

Help!!!!

Have you moved any of your project files? Have you created subclips from a master and then deleted the master? Do the clips have the "!" in them?

Thanks LJR.
In fact the problem turned out to be the McAfee firewall that was blocking RM.exe and Desktop.exe
Strange that that would stop rendering on local external hardrives, but opening those exe's up, as another board guy suggested, did the trick.

Thanks for your input.
