Afternoon chaps.

The sound is disappearing from clips for no logical reason. I can see the waveform go flatline, so my first thought was that it was a capturing problem, but when I check the original AVI file (both through Windows Media Player, or just through Pinnacle's album view) the sound is there. I've tried deleting the clip and re-importing it, but the soundtrack still goes dead at the same point. I've applied no volume changes, effects or any other form of modification to the soundtrack.

Anyone got any ideas? I've had to recapture those sections and splice them in, which is annoying because a) it's time consuming, and b) I no longer have enough free space on my hard drive to create the auxilary files
