I have an old Firewire card that i used to use on my now defunct PC using Win 98se. It s a Pinnacle DV1394 with 2 ext and one internal connection, must be 5 years old. (not used for 4 years)

I now only use a laptop, which has firwire built in, and a friend who has a PC without firewire connection at all.
His computer runs Windows XP, question is will my firewire card be usuable and recognised by his PC without any problems. I have the old 4/6 pin cable to give him as well.

An answer will save him undoing his PC, as he is not so familiar with it and i am a long way away.
