Default studio 9 problems with he quality of the captured video

Hello All

When i first used this version i was surprised how easy it was to use. It kinda reminds me of imovie. However, when i review the my footage that i haev captured to the computer it looks like the quality is poor. I made sure i captured the video with DV quality. It also takes up about 15 gigs, so i do not know what is wrong. When i play it full screen it doesnt look very good at all.

Could it me something to do with my hardware. I am using p4 2.0 gig, 1 gig ram, Firewire and a digital camcorder

Please help, thanks

Henrik

Hi! Could you describe what exactly is it that dissapoints you about your result? Is it by chance horizontal lines, as described in FAQ 1?

It just looks grainy, like the quality cannot handle being show on a full size screen.

Is the footage good quality when you play the recording directly from the camcorder to the TV monitor?
