Will Pinnacle Studio 10 work with Sony DVD - RW

Dear All,

I've just been bought a Sony DCR -DVD92E handycam. Unfortunately it hasn't come with any editing software.

Is Pinnacle Studio 10 compatable with the mini DVD discs that the camera records onto? Will I be able to put the discs into my computer and use the pinnacle studio software to edit them?

I'm very new to all this and any advice would be appreciated

Recorded discs from DVD camcorders need to be ripped first into MPEG files, before editing, since they're not supposed to be edited in the first place. So you need DVDRip (freeware) before Pinnacle Studio.

Yes both Studio plus 10 and Premiere Elements 2 will work both about $100US.
I have both programs and theyrun great on my PC, you most download the Studio 10 update patch or you may have some problems.
