Thread: Help copy Music & effects from a Pinnacle Studio 9 to a

I have a project in which the folks have asked me to remove the Music and Effects used in a Pinnacle Studio Project and copy it on a CD (Without the Video).. I need help!!

Is the project already rendered?
If not, simply open the *.stu file in Studio, lock the music and audio tracks and delete the video content. Of course, you won't be able to keep the VFX, transitions and such.

thaks for the post. It is a rendered project... They only need the music on a cd (in same order as the scenes) .. without the video. How can I copy the music onto a CD without the video??

OK so you only need the audio.
Bring the content in the timeline. Click "Make Movie", select "Create AVI file" and in the "Settings" dialog, uncheck "Include video in AVI file". Therefore, your result will be an AVI video file, with audio only. That's all you can do with Studio. Then you have to find another program to extract the sound to another format (say wav or mp3) if you want to burn an Audio-CD.
