| | You should have said which version of Studio you were referring too, when you ask - is it any good? David |

| | What's the point of this anyway, as long as people don't support their opinions?

| | I voted no when I saw this posted. Didn't comment though.
Pinnacle should be ashamed to have released such a sub-standard piece of code to the public.

| | For a consumer product, I think it's pretty good. Cheap ($ 99), easy interface, an extensive library of sounds and music, DVD menus and such, lots of transitions, filters, titles, good expandability options (although you won't be too happy buying all the extra plug-ins). Weakest point: it has an admirable feature of crashing when you least expect it. Pinnacle still haven't fixed this.
Home users and amateur videomakers love it. In it's price range, it's a good option. Plus, it usually comes bundled with Pinnacle hardware products. |

| | I've used many different NLE's over the years. For me, the best in terms of price to features ratio has to be Edit Studio 5. I do however own and use Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 - which essentially came bundled with a canopus ADVC100.
I just can't recommend Studio 10 until I hear the bugs are fixed. If Pinnacle give me a review copy for me to test, I'd be happy to give it a through going over. |

| | We're talking Pinnacle Studio, not a particular version.
I haven't checked out their 10th attempt myself, but will probably give it a go. |

| | If their forums are anything to go by, don't.
When people ask about buying a specific product, I always make the assumption that they are refering to the latest version. This is certainly the version that pinnacle would be pushing. |

| | You got that right.
Pinnacle forums, however, don't impress me much. I'm not frequent there. |

| | ive had 10 for over a month, I used 9 (on my other pc) to make a recent DVD,
10 has been patched once allready which helped, but still has bugs in it.
They will get it sorted one day, and the day they do they release a new version and its back to square one :(
I just live with it now, as i have used it for many years and dont have the time to learn another editing program :(
