Hi all, I'm new, from Norwich, England!

I have just bought version 10.6 and installed it on my Acer 1312 lappy, with 1gig ram and used an external hard drive to install program on.

I have tried to transfer an analogue video tape to studio but the quality is appalling.

Should I have installed a patch?

What settings do I need to do to my laptop?

I'm totally new to this software so please excuse my ignorance, but any help would be very welcome.
