i need help working Hollywood FX transitions. I am used to using just normal 'A to B' transitions but with HFX i have noticed there is multiscreen fx which include, A,B,3,4,5,6...etc anyone know how to use them?
I am trying to use the video screens transition.

Sorry, wish I could help but I've no idea about it, and I'm guessing no one else has. Anyone?

Hi all
When using the HollywoodFX multiscreen you can add different photos or video clips to each side of a box for example.
To do this you use the transistion as normal but then open the HFX interface, allowing you set the media required for each side using the HOST VIDEO setting on the left of the screen
Let me explain further
Open the HFX interface
to the left of the preview screen you should see the properties pull out bar
open the properties bar to reveal Basic option, lighting etc.
however below the properties you should also see an FX tree which includes the HOST VIDEO
Select each host video one by one and then the properties box (source tab) above allows you to choose / browse your HD for the media to be inserted into the HOST SELCTED, giving you a multi window FX.
I hope all this makes sense and you can begin to use the HFX successfully.
Regards
Tony
