When I render in Pinnacle 8 using transitions and menus it will not burn the audio to the dvd. The menus work on the home dvd player but there is no audio. I have tied burning to the hard drive and then copying to dvd and this does not work either. I have used both dvd+r and dvd-rw. It has me stumped. Any suggestions??

:( I have the same problem - no audio on movie , except the menue.
Everything is fine in edit mode previeving.
Hope someone has a solution.

I've been having the same problems to with rendering audio even after I've updated studio 8 with the latest patch. But the problem seemed to have stopped after I added a lot of chapters in the movie, it's a weird solution with no rationale.

I have actually been experiencing the same with Studio 9...
It happens when I import mpg footage. Symptoms are no adio in editing untill I play each clip through a little then the adiou comes in and seems okay. Run through all the clips, doing the same to each clip & then everything's fine in the preview. Burn to VCD & the audio is either non-existant or sporradic...
I've not had any probs with avi footage though
