I've read the recommended article on editing from DVD content with programmes like Mpeg Video Wizard. Is there no way to get the files back into Studio 9 to edit again?

I foolishly deleted original source clips after completing a project (thinking that once it was saved it was saved as a complete entity) and Studio 9 now 'looks for' these files when I try to open the project.

I have it on DVD and would like to recover it somehow for further editing? Can such editing only be done with a programme like Mpeg Video Wizard?

You can try and edit the MPEGs in Studio 9, or you can convert them to DV AvI.

this is a interesting topic,

I also do the same... make a short film, then delete the original footage from the PC.

But make a DVD of the short film,

I would like to convert the DVD back to mpeg to edit / and / add clips to it,

What program would do this ?
