i mean id like to overlay 1 clip to another clip but the first clip is soft surface or like feather in adobe.

If you mean dynamic animation, more exactly 2 movies in overlay one each other, where the program to be so smart to detect black or gray part to transform as transparently, I don't think that you can do it with Pinnacle. But Adobe Premiere CS3 can help you just using different tracks for each movie!

This kind of effect is most used for footage or animated overlay.
