I own new sony pmw-ex1r, and have just installed pinnacle studio 14, which i buyed.
Now question: i can import avi, and all other video formats, but cannot import mp4 XDECAM EX video.
i also have registered those file types with pinnacle.

Can please anyone tell me what could it be?

It could be that that Pinnacle Studio 14 is not designed to accept this format. I would recommend checking out the Pinnacle Forums or looking in your manual. I only have v10.8 and I know it will only capture DV avi. They may have upgraded in your version but I don't know.

v12 works with mp4's so 14 should! Do as Midnight says and check out their forums and help pages.
