Thread: Studio 8 vs Windows Movie Maker

Situation- Will be using to transfer (lots of)VHS tapes to DVD and also digital movie camera to DVD

Have hardware- Firewire, IndiDVD external drive, all VHS/digital movie camera hookups

Have software- Studio 8, Windows Movie Maker and the Roxio DVD builder (that came with IndiDVD)

Question- Which software shall would be to capture and produce DVD movies- Studio 8, Windows Movie Maker or the Roxio DVD builder ?

As I'm using Studio 8 i would certainly recommend it. It's fun and easy to use after a week of playing around. Still learning a bit though. Have windows movie maker as well but never used it. Read reviews and stuff and they say Studio 8 is great...so, I guess I'll stick with Studio 8.

I played around with windows movie maker before buying Studio 7 and found it way to limited for what I wanted to be able to do. I would certainly recomend Studio 8.
