Default Massive amount of files under All_Users folder - Why?

Ive just been investigating why 20GB+ of hard-disk space suddenly vanished in the last month from my C:.

No surprise - since thats when I installed Pinnacle 11 Ultimate Studio then, I discover under

C:\Document and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Pinnacle Studio
\Render

about 25GB of data!!!!! I believe this is tmp data that was used during about 50+ projects Ive been working on in that time. Does anyone know what this data actually is? If I can delete it - manually? Why doesnt the program delete it or at least prompt for it?

25GB is about 1/3 of my C: partition and its a real bad sign of design that this amount of files are there and not under the Program Files\Installation folder I installed it under.

So can these files be delete, if so which ones. If it helps they are in a subfolder called Render.

Any help will sure be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know the specifics of Pinnacle, but render files are typically temporary files used to create smoth playback in the preview monitor. If you delete them, playback of files on the timeline will be 'juddery' for these files for example.
