No Audio Dazzle 120, Sony GV-A500

Hi,
I'm attempting to record Hi8 to DVD.
Playing tapes thru Sony GV-A500 and Dazzle 120 (connected via S-Video), with Pinnacle Studio 10 with latest updates. Windows XP - all updates. Plenty of RAM, etc.

Sony plays everything fine. Doesn't appear to be that component.
Video capture is perfect.

No audio on edit/playback of the Studio project file or from the saved MPEG file played thru any other software (RealPlayer, Media Player, etc).

Does the Mic/Voiceover source setting have any bearing on this?
