Pinnacle Studio 11 - help a newbie

What am I doing wrong - help!

My video capture from a VHS player is limited to about 8 minutes. Pinnacle appears to be continuing to capture the whole tape but only the first few minutes are actually recorded. I am using Vista, NTFS formatted hard drive and a KWorld Capture device.
