Need to import the date and time that is on the tape

I am transferring a tape from source (DV) to Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus. Once transferred, I cannot see the date and time date that is on the original tape, I need this information to be on the edited copy.
I believe I broke the code on this once before, so I know it can be done,....how?
