im thinking ofdoing this in studio 11
do you just do it byadding an overlay video of the same sciene or is there another way ?

You would need to mask it or chromkey it out, Do a google search for chromakey, you should find a lot of diffrent tutorials.

If you want two of yourself on the same screen, film yourself twice as the two separate clones, with the camera on a tripod, and then put one on overlay, and crop it, so that both bits of video are visible at the same time.

I've also found it useful to find some sort of physical line in the location you are shooting, and stay behind that line so a stray arm or elbow doesn't cross it. It just makes the joining of the two parts easier in post production.
