screen resolution

Hi is it possible to increase my resolution, im using pinnacle studio version 11. In the set up options it looks like it could be possible to adjust the res / quality but its greyed out. When i preview a clip it looks good in the preview window but full screen or when burnt to disc i totaly loose the quality. Settings at the moment are 720x576 mpeg2 25fps .
