Exclamation DVD's

Hey, basically i am trying to get some old camcorder tapes onto DVD's

I'm using Pinnical 9 and have captured the tape and edited it etc then make DVD, work like a dream on the PC but dont seem to work on DVD players for TV's etc?

Any help would be great as i need to do this asap.

PS. what are the best setting and capture formats in your opinions?

AVI seems worst quality?

Also dose it matter? Dont it reincode the files (AVI or MPEG) to VOB anyway for the DVD?

What AVI codec are you using? There are so many. AVI edits better them mpeg. Use "Gspot" to find out the exact codec.
