| | Which Pinnacle/Avid Editor do you use? I am interested in just getting a feel for which Pinnacle or Avid editing product(s) you are primarily using. So a show of hands if you please (btw you can vote for multiple suites if you use more than one regularly)

| | I'm...
Grasping on Avid... for a while now... soon to lose patience and employ a real editor... X(
... and of course good old Pinnacle Studio 9.4.3 for simple editing tasks (parties and such) and direct DVD conversion. |

| | Which Avid? Xpress? I've always wanted to try it out (purely out of curiosity more than anything else) but they don't do a trial version and the system specs are even more tightly constrained than they are for liquid.

| | They don't have a trial version, indeed. But they do offer something better. A freeware, but streamlined version of Xpress: www.avid.com/freedv |

| | I didn't buy Xpress DV yet. I will if I get serious with it aka employ an editor.
It's basically the same interface, except they've greyed out some features in the free version, and they've made the project format incompatible with other Avids, so it doesn't affect their sales. |

| | LOL No, not yet. I am tempted but presently in the middle of a fairly large edit and so will wait until that's all complete first. I don't want to install something and then find Liquid having a problem as a result
