Default Confused

The premiere pro versions are confusing me. There's pro 7.0 but also there's 2.0 release this year.. Which is the latest.. Also what's the difference between premiere pro & premiere elements?????

Pro 2 is the latest and Elements is a downgraded version of the Premiere Pro. Its more for people new to Premiere.
