Do you need music for your film?

Hi

I am not sure if this was the best place to post but I'm someone will tell me if it isnt!

I have been composing music on my PC for the last year now and would like to get my teeth into some projects. I do not want any payment - all I want is the experience and my name credited to the music.

I think you should ask for payment if people use your stuff in a piece of wk that they are getting paid for maybe.... Only fair really innit?

Hi Zaskar - yeah maybe in the future I should ask people to pay for using my music but at this stage I am just trying to get experience and exposure. I don't believe that I am good enough yet to warrant asking people for any money!

svhs - I have no qualms with people downloading my music as long as they give me the credit for it. I am not making the music for money at this stage but would like to be given the exposure.

I dont have a download area on my site as yet, but if there is a particular track that you are interested in I oculd email the MP3 to you?

If my track gets used in your video project, would you be willing to give me a copy of the video/animation so that I can see the end result?

Well adding your songs to our library of royalty free music will surely be appreciated by all members of VideoForums. And we will credit you, of course, and maybe some of us can actually offer financial compensation.
Personally, I'm interested in a very dramatic piano piece (for an ethnical documentary) maybe you can suggest something.

Hi

Would you want the piano on its own or would you just want it as the main instrument?

What is the documentary about? I can certainly give something a go for you if you give me a description of the documentary/style of music you would like and how long you need the piece to last.

Respectfully, you are mistaken!

The only thing that is probably not in your favour is that your 'catalog' is not yet large enough. that's all.
