Best Use of Broadband category at the
2005 North East E-commerce Awards.
As the regional winner of one of the six main categories,
The Beat Suite will now be entered into the National E-commerce Awards in the ‘Best Use of Broadband’ category, with the winners being announced at a gala dinner on 6th October.
The regional e-Commerce awards ceremony, held at Redworth Hall in Durham, saw 100's of North East companies competing for the prestigious awards – and
The Beat Suite also took the runners up places in the
‘Best Online Sales and Marketing’ and
‘Best End to End Integrated Business’ categories.
Beatsuite.com is an online
royalty free music library, which provides easy access and download of high quality music and sounds for all kinds of businesses.
The website,
Beatsuite.com, was launched by DJ Steve Bainbridge only 12 months ago, to offer film, video, multi-media production companies and games developers an online, high-quality,
royalty-free music service.
Already, The Beat Suite has attracted clients such as London-based advertising agency Thirty Three and has chalked up sales across the world including the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany and Mexico.
Steve Bainbridge, Managing Director of The Beat Suite, says: “We entered the awards about two months ago - completing our application online. We were surprised and delighted to be invited to the awards and, while we knew that we had a great online service, we didn’t think we would win anything.
“We spent 12 months creating a music library that provides great music for businesses worldwide - whether they are multimedia developers, broadcasters or computer games developers. It was designed to be easily accessible and very easy to use. We think that we achieved this and are delighted that our work has been acknowledged through this award - it’s a real buzz! We can now continue to develop and grow our business in the international marketplace with even greater confidence that we are getting things right”.
