not at all, i wouldn't know where to start.
i messed about with lightwave YEARS ago on the amiga, but these days it's way out of my league, and i've no interest to learn.
I would definitely script something, and direct the animators though. The shot where the camera pans then sweeps back and up, and the actor fades from place to place is fantastic, and couldn't be done with real actors without lots of bluescreening, but it's an example of how much more freedom there is when we involve computers.
