Greetings,
A small technical and artistic team is attempting to make the creation of computer-generated animation accessible to everyone. If you have ever wanted to create your own 3D animations but were put off by the complexity and or cost of the software, you are our target audience. Much like PowerPoint can be used by anyone to make a good looking presentation, our animation tool will allow anyone to create good looking 3D animations, tell short stories and more. We won a Phase 1 Small Business Innovation Research grant from the United States National Science Foundation to develop this technology.
We are currently in the early development stage and need consumer feedback on our system. If you have a few minutes to spare, please visit our site, read through the details and most importantly fill out our survey. Your assistance will provide us with much needed data that will help us shape the next phase of development. http://www.creativelogicentertainment.com/nsf-feedback/
We plan to make this a product for general consumers, but we think there may also be a good potential match with video editors.
Regards,
Mike Roche

If you read carefully you'll notice it says the demo video was NOT made using their s/w but that the new s/w (when written) willbe able to mimic allthe 'effects' you see in the demo.
That's not that I want to belittle it though. On the contrary, when the s/w is produced I'll be more than interested in having a look. It might prove very usfull in producing animated storyboards. I've already got a tool for that but if this proves better....

It took me a while before I noticed it. If you look carefully, the entire site is really just a business plan and/it a requirement specification for the intended s/w. It does sound promising though so I'm hesitant to call it vapourware but that's all it really is right now.
