As I have been reading around these forums, I have noticed that a large majority use custom PCs for video editing. Let me start off by saying that I have absolutely no experience in PC building, hence, I would like to get a pre-built computer to do my editing. What I am thinking is a Mac Book Pro (2.0ghz), 7200 rpm 120GB HD, 1 GB of RAM, ATI Radeon X800 (<--I think??). My primary motivation for using a Mac would be to have the ability to use FCP. I have worked with Final Cut before at school, and I really, really like the program. That said, I was wondering if there were any pre-fab PCs out there that would perform the same function without as much cost. Thank you for your time.
