Default What's peoples take on buying a system already made

I have been doing some pricing and looking to spend around $1,100... but i have also been looking in ads of Bestbuy and Microcenter and am finding out that I am going to end up saving at most $150USD-$200.... and I am with out an OS (which isnt hard to get). But for that extra couple hundred, I can have the OS and a warranty....

arg... hate buying a complete box... what's your guys take.

build a box stronger than this with MCE on it

The Gateway has a dedicated videocard, whereas the HP has integerated. The GW also seems to have slightly better audio (since it supports 7.1 instead of 5.1), but that's not really a good indicator of "quality" audio.

I don't see any difference between the two, other than those two... I'd go with the Gateway.
