Hi everyone. I have a pc I built 3 years ago and I was wanting to get into video editing. I was wondering if it is good enough or if I need to build a new pc.

Processor - AMD Athlon XP 2100+ Thoroughbred 266MHz FSB Socket A
Memmory - (2) DDRAM 512M|DDR400 CL3 PC3200 -k RT
Hard drives - 180GB/WD 7200 WD1800JB 8MB
60GB/WD 7200 8MB
DVD Burner - Pioneer DL
DVD Drive - Liteon

That's very similar specs to my other computer, which does ok.

It really depends on what you're doing. If you're just splicing and fading in and out of black, then this computer will do just fine.

Might need to get a firewire card though.
