Going to buy a laptop for video editing. Would like for it to be durable, mid-sized, and have enough power/speed/memory to do video editing. Can you suggest one for around $800 to $1200 ? Doesn't matter which brand, however I would like one that is highly rated. Thank you!

Not sure which program I'll be using to edit with yet. Haven't got that far. Probably a common one that's simple to operate. I'm not planning on doing any serious editing yet. I just want to get the home movies on DVD. Sorry for the late reply, been out for a while. Thanks.
