Default Suggestions for a complete cheap studeo as follows:

I represent a non-profit tax-exempt organization (www.operationmom..org) that sends out thousands of packages and mail to our troops serving abroad dailey. I am also the LAN/WEB administrator for this organization.

As such, many people want DVD's and VCR tapes of my PowerPoint presentations which uses streaming video, flash and other like items in it. I currently can burn the DVD's and also VCD's, but I cannot reverse the process and take the PP presentation back to the VCR via the S-VHS in on the VCR.

I need to purchase equipment that will let me record an exact duplicate of my PowerPoint presentations, and/or burn them onto DVD or CDR's.

I am looking at purchasing the following:

1) Two VCR's which have the appropriate plug-ins for this, whether Firewire, USB, S-VHS, etc...

2) Capture board (internal or external)

3) Software that will do the above, and automate the VCR's via software

4) Video cards and sound cards as necessary for the above

I currently use a simple Dazzle external device for editing VCR tapes onto WMA format for upload onto our website, but I would like to have the ability to have two way transfer.....Best bang for the buck.

As we are on a fixed budget, I don't want to spend more than $3,000.00 if I can help it. Can someone recommend by brand name, model and cost of each component that would serve my needs the best?

Default I forgot to add what I am using thus far....

I have an upgraded HP Pavilion 725N, which has Windows XP professional, 1 gig of DDR memory, 2400+ AMD processor, 250 gig HD, 80 gig HD, USB 2.0 and Firewire ports. Audio and video are built-in.

I also have a JVC Super VHS ET HI-FI with S-VHS in and out (HR-S3900U)

I plan to purchase a Pioneer DVD+/DVD- burner(DVR-A07U), and was thinking of purchasing a Sound Blaster Audigy LS sound board, and a Pinnacle studio deluxe AV/DV Firewire set.

I will await your recommendations before I buy anything!

You may be able to find a program that'll do a screenshot video....This would make it so u wouldnt needf a capture card.

quality would suck because there would be lots of dropped frames due to any computer's limited resources.
