stop picking on me... im an intense gamer, but games are demanding and require a lot from your pc, so does creative software such as avid, pro tools, cubase premiere etc, so they will be good for that kind of stuff... also dfi arent jst for gaming. and the 3 top brand mobos are infact asus dfi and abit lol. (read about it in pc gamer)

multimonitor rules , it helps when doing cubase sx 3 projects, having timeline in one monitor and the mixer and vst connections in another also with avid etc

Thanks a lot for your help guys... has given me lots to go on and work with..

However i am looking for 'out of the box' components so overclocking is not an option...

Any Ideas where i can get reviews or prices for this stuff?

Thanks Again

Hmm, every time I tried all this clever overclocking all I ever got was a bluescreen, an unstable PC and a nervous breakdown, deffo one for the experts.

Although a lot of people OC successfully, I would never, ever OC on something for video editing. If I only used it for gaming or casual stuff maybe, but I wouldn't want the risk of an unstabele system if i was rendering loads of stuff all the time.

Can you give some examples of dual CPU boards and what kind of setup you have worked with before and found to be optimal for video editing? Thanks.
