Default PC Config

Hiya
Am looking at installing RAID0 to PC. PC is used mainly for video editing and I use ULead 9. Following is installed:

Mobo: Gigabyte GA81945P-G with P4 3.2Ghz duel core chip with ITE8212 IDE Raid controller installed. Mobo has 4x SATAII and 2x IDE133.
Disk 0 = 1x 120GB Samsung partioned SATA HD for OS / Programs
Disk 1 = 1x 120GB Samsung SATA HD for video files
Disc 2 = 1x 200GB SATA for video files
Disc 3 = 1x 80GB ATA for photos
I also hv Sony RW DRU-710A DVD burner on the other ATA connection.
VG = NVideo GeForce6600LE
RAM = 1GB DDRII
Power Supply = 400W

What would be best config for RAID0? Is RAID0 worth it with todays dual core processors? Any other suggestions to maximise above system?

I will be travelling to HKG soon and want to use opportunity for any hardware purchases, any advise appreciated.

My first comment would be that all drives should be identical within RAID. You won't be able to set up an array with those drives.

OK, but I hv 4x SATA plugs on Mobo, can I use say Disc 0/1 for Raid0 with the 2x 120GB discs and only for video storage, and say Disc 3 for a smaller say 80GB SATA for programs and still use the single open ATA for 80GB disc for a library.
Main need for RAID is when rendering, so can I hv the OS on a HD seperate from the Raid?

Sorry if this confusing, but so many possible configs and I want to settle for one. If this means purchasing additional HD's, then no prob.

Thkx the help.
