Default DVStorm Pro 2 or Radeon 9800 Pro - What card do you use?

DVStorm Pro 2 or Radeon 9800 Pro

I know one is specifically built for editing, but i have read countless reviews saying the Radeon gives top quality performance on both the editing and 3d visual fronts.

It costs about half the price of the DVStorm card but can the Radeon handle dvd quality editing (it will be matched with a P4, 3.2ghz cpu, 1gb memory and the latest in motherboard and hdd's technology).

What video cards do other people use?

Cheers

One's a video editing card, the other is a video card. Perhaps you meant the All In Wonder version of the ATI. If you did then that is still primarily a video card with some extra functionality stuck on.

The DVStorm2 Pro is a realtime card with hardware MPEG encoding and there are several good reasons why it costs a few pence more than the All In Wonder.

If you are looking to compare the Storm with anything it's this that you should be comparing it with:

There are also some links there for Storm vs Matrox benchmarking/reviews.
