has anybody heard of a vhs player that has a usb interface? I could have sworn that I saw one in a magazine some time ago, but now I can't find anything even on the web. what I remember seeing was basically a small unit that you just slip your vhs tape into and then it when straight out to usb. anybody remember seeing anything like that?

Hi Dave, no I haven't. However, when I bought some Pinnacle editing software some time ago it came with a dongle that easily allows a vhs player, or any other device that has composite video plus stereo audio, (with phono sockets), to be connected to usb on the computer. Hope this helps. Terry.
